Fjords of Norway, august 2018

I spent a week in the western fjords of Norway in august 2018 when I was in the area to photograph an elopement near Bergen. It was the rainiest week I think I’ve ever experienced anywhere (Bergen is Norway’s Seattle, after all), but also one of the most peaceful, beautiful explorations of my home country. I love the narrow roads, the sound of a waterfall from my hotel room at night (and that hotel being over 200 years old), the quiet pace of life here, when you can avoid cruise ship season.
