I could say much about the eight talented women who took the stage at the Arnold Sports Festival to show the world what pole fitness is all about in the third annual PCS Championship, but I think these pictures speak for themselves. Strength, flexibility, and performance art – pole is here to stay.

While last year’s PCS left me upset with the hypocrisy of the fitness community for their judgmental attitudes toward the pole events at the Arnold, it seems we’ve made some solid progress since then. This year saw more people attending all the pole fitness events, from the main championship to the concourse stage performances, and I didn’t hear a single snide remark all weekend. So thank you to the whole PCS crew, and especially to the competitors, for everything you’ve done for this community.
